COVID-19 | CORONAVIRUS
What are coronaviruses?
Coronaviruses are a large family of viruses that may cause illness in animals or humans. In humans it generally affects respiratory system infection mild infection can cause common cold if it did not care efficiently it lead to SARS(severe acute respiratory syndrome), MERS(middle east respiratory syndrome) and COVID-19 in chicken it affects its upper respiratory tract disease, while in cow and pigs it leads to diarrhea .they are yet to find antidote of coronavirus.
SARS(severe acute respiratory syndrome)
(SARS-COV) first appeared in Guangdong province in china.it is generally animal virus commonly found in bats that spread to other animals.actualy in china there is illegal buying and selling of animals which were widely banned. Chinese people believe that eating these animals leads to an increase in their sexual ability.this is how I think this virus reached in human beings. This virus affected 26 countries and more than 8000 humans in the year 2002-2003
China, Toronto in Canada, America, Itlay, Iran, Spain, Hongkong, Singapore, Hanoi in Vietnam and more countries. These are the areas that were affected because of human to human transmission.
General symptoms include fever, malaise, myalgia, headache, diarrhea and it is hard to find during 1st week of infection.
Cough, shortness of breath and diarrhea are present in the second or 1st week of infection.
Since there is no antidote of the coronavirus it is hard to stop once it spread .only way to stop these things is to the isolation of effected person until it gets recovered.
MERS(middle east respiratory syndrome)
First identified in Saudi Arabia in 2012. Generally transmitted from camels to human beings Even some studies show that these types of viruses originated in bats and were transmitted to camels sometime in the distant past.
27 countries have reported this virus including Algeria, Austria, Bahrain, China, and many more countries are affected. Approximately 80 percent of human cases have been reported by Saudi arabia.many Middle East countries are also affected
A typical presentation of MERS-COV is a disease is fever, cough, and shortness of breath .pneumonia is a common finding but not always present. the viruses appear to more severe diseases in older people, people with weak immune systems and those with a chronic disease like cancer, chronic lung disease, and diabetes.approximately 35 percent of patients with MERS died because of a lack of good health facility.
Dromedary camels are the major reservoir host for MERS-COV and animal source of infection in humans. Human to human transmission the virus does not pass easily unless there is close contact, such as providing unprotected care to an infected person.
No vaccine or specific treatment is currently available, however, several MERS-COV specific vaccines and treatment are in development.
This is caused because of severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-COV 2)
This disease was first identified in Wuhan, the capital of Hubei province and has since spread and has since spread across whole globe result in thousands of deaths and financial crises.it is thought to be originated from illegal in a seafood market where wildlife was sold illegally.scientists have pointed either eating snakes or bats as a possible source of entering these viruses in human beings.
Symptoms of COVID-19
Common symptoms include fever, cough, coughing and breathing difficulties.in severe cases, it can cause pneumonia, multiple organ failure and deaths.chances of deaths increase if you are older than 55 and in small children. this disease can take up to 1to 14 days to show its symptoms. infected people can also be asymptomatic means they do not display any symptoms despite having viruses in their systems.
How does COVID-19 spread
People can catch COVID-19 from others who have a virus. this disease spreads from person to person through small droplets from nose or mouth which are spread when a person with COVID-19 by touching these objects or surfaces, then touching there eyes, nose or mouth.
Effect on the whole world of COVID-19
In the whole globe 199 countries were affected by this virus. around 7 lakhs people get infected by this virus. around 4 thousand people die because of this virus. even numbers are increasing day by day it is hard to stop the disease.half of the world is in lockdown situation it will affect the economy of those countries. hard time for the whole world
Since there is no antidote development of this virus doctors are doing there best to find the medicine. the only thing as a human being we can do is to Clean as much we can do ourselves. Don’t need to go outside until necessary. Consult to the doctor if find any of the symptoms in our self. don’t need to panic.use mask while going outside. follow what government orders.
